About the conference
The fifth version of the ECCOMAS Thematic conference on Computational Methods in Wood Mechanics will be arranged at Linnaeus University in Växjö, June 21-23, 2027. The conference is jointly organized by Linnaeus University and Lund University and devoted to computational methods applied in the field of wood mechanics and timber engineering for research from material properties up to structural applications. By bringing together leading academic scientists, researcher scholars and young scientists, the CompWood conference series is a leading forum for scientific exchange and facilitating discussions of research topics in wood mechanics and timber engineering.
Five invited lectures will be given by high-class keynote speakers.
We invite for oral presentations in the area of numerical and analytical models, experimental investigations, and design concepts for wood at different length scales.
