More about the project

This action research project focus on data-driven approaches for business model optimization and aims to investigate Södra´s readiness to adopt and implement a data-driven culture and to identify the pathways through which the organization can progress toward digital maturity. The goal is to increase data literacy in Swedish companies and increase competitiveness of the forest sector and nature-based companies. This seed project is funded by Linnaeus University Centre for Data Intensive Sciences and Applications and aims to strengthen the collaboration between academia and industry, with a focus on digital transformation.

What is a seed project?

A seed project is a minor project funded by a knowledge environment or a research group at the university. The aim is to launch and promote excellent research. Depending on the financier, a seed project may be to idenfify new or deepen existing collaborations, preferably cross-disciplinary ones, to explore possible research issues in a feasibility study, to collect empirical material, or to write an application for external funding.
