The research subject of the Ecological chemistry group is to study how insects communicate by chemical signaling.

Our research

Our research is applied in preventing insects to invade new areas (where they not belong), to protect crops and trees from insect pests and to monitor the presence of disease-causing insects.

The Swedish Ecological Chemistry group has collaboration with groups in several parts of the world like New Zeeland, Brazil, Hawaii, USA and Australia.
