Theories and Methods in Law

This is an introductory course for doctoral students that highlights the premises, issues and methods of law.

The course recognises and introduces the elements of law and problematises as well as challenges frequently occurring conceptions about the same.

Admission to third-cycle studies is required.

Teaching method

The teaching in the course consists of seminars for which the doctoral students prepare individually or in groups.

Formats of examination

In order to pass the examination of the course, active participation in compulsory seminars is required and a passing grade for the associated written assignments (10 credits) and the final written assignment (5 credits).
