We use an electronic recruitment tool where your application is made. The first time you apply, an account is registered. You fill in an application form, answer any questions, and attach the requested documents. Learn more about user account further down.
If you experience any problems with your application, contact the HR partner indicated in the advertisement.
Application deadline
Your application must be registered no later than 11:59 pm on the last day of application. This also applies to documents that must be attached for the application to be complete.
Questions about the advertised position
If you have any questions about the content of the position, please contact the recruiting manager. Questions related to employment are answered by the relevant HR partner.
Application is a public document
We are a government agency, which means that your application and attached documents become public records once they are registered. This means they may be disclosed to others if requested. If you have protected personal details, please contact the relevant HR partner in the respective advertisement for information on how to apply.
User account is convenient
Once you have registered a user account, you can later log in to the account to, for example, update an application that has not passed the application deadline. Your information is saved for the next time you want to submit an application, and you can also see what jobs you have previously applied for.

How long is the recruitment process?
The time for how long a recruitment process takes after the application deadline has passed varies depending on the position.
For technical administrative staff, the recruitment process is in most cases up to 3 months. All applications are assessed based on the requirements in the advertisement and linked to the candidate's merit and competence.
For appointments of researchers, professors and senior lecturers, the recruitment process is longer than above. External experts are hired to assess the candidates' merits and competences för Senior Lecturers and Professors. An appointment board from the faculty makes an overall assessment and makes proposals to the Dean.
PhD student: Each faculty is responsible for the recruitment process.
Can I send supplements after the application deadline has passed?
No, the application documents that are in the recruitment system after the application deadline are the basis for the assessment and may not be supplemented afterwards.
When will you contact me?
You will receive information when external experts have been appointed and whether you will be called for an interview.
When a decision on employment has been made, other applicants for the position receive information about the decision.

Can I contact someone to improve my chances of getting the job?
No. As a government authority, we assess your submitted application documents. We assess you according to merit and competence as well as based on the requirements in the employment profile.
I was not appointed to the position and I do not agree with the decision
When a decision of employment has been made, those who applied for the position without having been appointed receive information on how to appeal the decision.
The admission/appointment as a doctoral student cannot be appealed.
Can I withdraw my application?
If you want to withdraw your application, you can notify us at registrator@lnu.se
Make sure to write the reference number. We will register that you are no longer eligible for the requested position.
Please note that we save your application documents for 2 years after the appointment decision has become legally binding in accordance with the regulations of the National Archives of Sweden.
