Växjö: Closing ceremony master level 2026
Some of you have already successfully completed your degree and had the opportunity to take a well-deserved breather, while others of you are approaching the final stages of your studies. Regardless, it is now time to invite you to your closing ceremony. The ceremony will take place on 4 June at Växjö Concert Hall.
If you are completing a 1-year or 2-year master’s degree during the 2025/2026 academic year at Linnaeus University, we are delighted to welcome you to this special event.
Location and time
Växjö Concert Hall, Växjö – 4 June
The graduation ceremony will be held at different times depending on faculty affiliation.
For students who have studied at the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and the Faculty of Social Sciences:
10 a.m. to approx 12:00 a.m
- Doors open: 09:30 a.m.
- Doors close: 10 a.m.(the ceremony begins)
For students who have studied at the School of Business and Economics, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and the Faculty of Technology:
2 p.m. to approx 4 p.m.
- Doors open: 1:30 p.m.
- Doors close: 2 p.m. (the ceremony begins)

The broadcasting will begin a couple of minutes ahead of the ceremony.
Programme
The closing ceremony opens with a welcome speech by the pro-vice-chancellor and the Student Union. This is followed by entertainment and tribute ceremonies. And the closing ceremony will end with the students' speech.
