SmålandsNavet
SmålandsNavet, an investment in business development in Småland
Smålandsnavet is an initiative aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises in the rural areas of Småland. The purpose of the initiative is to contribute to business development in the region. We can achieve this by offering skills development in various forms, as well as through research and education in collaboration. The resources and tools we have at our disposal consist of our teachers, researchers, students, and facilities such as our BusinessLabs. We also need to be present where the companies are, out in the region.
SmålandsNavet is funded by Familjen Kamprads stiftelse.
SmålandsNavet - a facilitator
Don't miss the offers that are available within SmålandsNavet. Employees at the School of Business and Economics are invited to participate in the work of getting the entire faculty to collaborate more with the business community, especially the small and medium-sized companies in Småland.
Below you will find various offers within the areas of Visibility and Research Collaboration. You apply through the forms provided under each offer. Only one application per offer can be granted. Once you have submitted your report, you may apply again.
Applications are prepared and decided by a group consisting of Stephan Reinhold (Dean), John Jeansson (Vice Dean for Collaboration), and Diana Axelsson Olsson (Deputy Adminstrative Director). Feedback will be provided within one month from the submission of the application.
If you have any questions, please contact us at smalandsnavet@lnu.se
Opportunity #3 - company visits with dialogues
We now offer FEH staff the opportunity to apply for funding for company development visits and dialouges. This activity normally involves allocating around 80 hours to carry out one or more company visits, including associated dialouges, with one or several small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Kalmar or Kronoberg. In addition to working hours, reasonable travel costs are also reimbursed.
See document for information about the activity here (only available in Swedish).
Application period
The call period is open from now until five applications have been approved.
One factor in the assessment is the ambition to give as many FEH staff members as possible the opportunity to carry out activities within the framework of SmålandsNavet. This means that priority will be given to applicants who have not previously received funding from SmålandsNavet. We also aim for a balance in terms of subject areas as well as geographical distribution across Kronoberg and Kalmar.
